Welcome to the Heartland Church blog. My name is Paul Fries and I am the planting pastor for Heartland Church. We are a new church to be located in Richland County, Wisconsin. I am first a follower of Jesus Christ. I received Jesus Christ into my life 1974 while living in Arizona. Jesus changed my life. I can honestly say I have never been the same. I am a husband to my wife Cheryl since 1975. I am the father of 3 children and the grandfather of 2 granddaughters.I am a native of Richland County and a graduate of Ithaca High School. After graduation from high school I joined the Air Force and served for the next 20 years. After retirement from the Air Force I returned to college obtaining a BA in Theology. I have been a pastor and director of missions for the past 15 years. I look forward to meeting the people of Richland County and sharing with you the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I was able to make the IMB/Westside B.C. meeting in Gainesville and participated in the New Missionarie’s (36 of them) Appointment Service. I was also saddened by Wade Burleson’s resignation after his apology was refused.
Just stopped by to say HI! Want you to know that we still think and pray for you! Hope things are going well in your “startup” efforts…… Things are fine here and we manage to stay busy….. though, I must admit, that doesn’t include shoveling snow!
I personally have started praying that the Lord would allow restrictions imposed by the IMB to be moderated in subsequent Sessions and maybe altered even before the SBC in indianapolis.
I honestly don’t think that’s likely….. but….. Just know that we are praying for our “missionaries” in the “frozen” North! Blessings…..
